Jonny: "Hey man."

Rand: "Yo! How are ya?"

Jonny: "I'm doin' ok. I've got alot on my mind right now though."

Rand: "Oh really? Like what?"

Jonny: "Well, one thing has to do with my family."

Rand: "Wanna tell me about it?"

Jonny: "Yea... I don't really know where to begin. It has to do with my brothers mostly. I'm really worried about them..."

Rand: "Are they alright?"

Jonny: "I... don't... really know. They have so much anger in them it honestly scares me sometimes."

Rand: "Oh man... I think I know what you mean. They aren't taking their anger out on you, are they?"

Jonny: "Nah, but I have often been the one who hasta pacify them... They have a lot of negative feelings against other people. I am certain that is not a good way to look at things"

Rand: "Yea, negativity can be bad for your health also."

Jonny: "Not to mention, their negativity only adds to their anger and vice versa."

Rand: "What do you think you can you do about it?"

Jonny: "I don't know if there is anything that can be done... I just need to continue to be there for them and always show them how much I appreciate all the kind things they do for me."

Rand: "That seems like a good start. Wait, they do kind things? They can't be that bad then huh?"

Jonny: "No they are really nice guys! They can be very very considerate and generous. They are so giving with everything they have. I believe that their thoughtfulness is their strongest quality. I think that their altruism and egotism are at constant war within them. They constantly perform selfless acts, but when others fail to return kindness for kindness they are quick to smite."

Rand: "WTF did you just say??"

Jonny: "They get upset easily when appreciation is not shown for favors they do for people."

Rand: "Well, I can understand how that would be upsetting."

Jonny: "Yes it would be disappointing, however, there is no reason to turn such events into life-long grudges and keeping that hate deep inside you."

Rand: "Yea, a grudge is rottenness to the bones."

Jonny: "Actually, the saying is: 'Jealousy is rottenness to the bones', but I think it is true with grudges as well. But anyways... I will keep workin' on changing their attitude, if it is even possible."

Rand: "Yea keep at it. I hope for the best man!"

Jonny: "Yea, me too. Oh and grats on becoming a ranger dude!!"

Rand: "Haha thanks! I was only able to do it with your help."

Jonny: "There's some truth to that i guess. Haha."

Rand: "So how are things going with Erika?"

Jonny: "Everything is going great!! I have never had a long distance relationship though. I think that it is gonna be a lot more work than a normal relationship."

Rand: "I would say so too. It can be so easy to become detached from someone you never see."

Jonny: "Mmhmm. With all my experiences, I have learned how important it is to communicate with the one you love. I believe if we keep the lines of communication open we can make it work."

Rand: "You must be very committed then huh?"

Jonny: "Yer. I can see so many good qualities in her. I have never met a girl who can make me smile like she can. She's like me in that she genuinely cares for people no matter if they are real friends or those she has only met online."

Rand: "Isn't it strange how you can learn so much about a person's personality just from the way they act online."

Jonny: "Yea, I can hardly wait till I get to meet Erika in real life though."

Rand: "Do you ever think that will happen?"

Jonny: "Honestly, I don't know. But one can only hope right?"

Rand: "Yea!! I'll be rootin' for ya man!"

Jonny: "Haha thanks!"

Rand: "Awww it's time for me to go. I'll catch ya later!"

Jonny: "Mmk see ya dude!!"

I got the highest grade on my Advanced Programming Mid-term WITHOUT studying or reading a single page in the textbook!! Thus, I pwn. Oh btw i got 99% and the next closest was 96%. RaWr!!

I was just really happy about that today. All I do in that class is surf the web with my headphones on listening to yahoo radio... LOL

I wrote this poem for my little sister. She is going through some hard times and I was there for her today, a shoulder for her to cry on. I had most of this poem written in my head on the drive home, but i finished it just now. I know exactly what she is going through. I am going to make sure that she lets her feelings out instead of keepin' em inside. I learned that lesson myself.

What a weekend this was... I don't think I will be able to move much, or very fast, tomorrow because of the amount and intensity of the physical labor I exerted this weekend. But lets start before that, on Friday.

Friday afternoon I took three buddies, Collin, Mitch and Justin, to go hang out. We skated till it got dark, then we went over to my other buddy's house, Ben. We fooled around on the computer playing crazy flash games and looking at Ben's archive of funny pictures and videos. After that we played some halo three and i got to play a bit of the new Zelda DS game "The Phantom Hourglass" which I am sooo buying.

Saturday I busted my ass all day shoveling and carrying sod all over. My brothers and I worked all day on our backyard and laying the lawn. It is FINALLY done!! W00t!! Saturday evening i drove one of my brothers to the bar and we hung out there for awhile. There was a cute bartender working named Tera and she totally hooked us up. She kept bringing us drink after drink, I think I had 6(girlie) shots and 5 glasses of water before we left (all the shots were on the house O.O). After that we followed my brother's friend to his house that he just moved into to chill there. There happened to be a huge party next door. After too much debate about whether we should go check it out (because, firstly, we didn't know anyone there and secondly, it was a costume party) I just walked over and started talking to some people there and walked inside the house. I scoped it out and it looked like a lot of fun! I finally got everyone over at the party and we all had a good time even though we didn't know anyone. The hostess said that our costume was a "Boy Band"... lol. What I was really happy about, was that my brother's friend, Cory, was the happiest that I have ever seen him lately. He is going through a divorce after being married for 8 years, I can only imagine what he is going through. Anyways, overall it was a good night!

Sunday. Work. Went to my Church(we call it Kingdom Hall but most people wont understand that), met new people from Fremont. My friend asked me to play football on the 10th of November. Went to my parents house where my uncle was pickin' up his car. I talked to my uncle about his new invention. Sis came home crying. Cried with my sis. More work. Finished all the landscaping!! Watched "The Wedding Crashers" for the second time.

Watching "The Wedding Crashers" had me thinking about something. What is it that draws you to someone? To put it less vaguely I guess I could say: What is it that makes you fall so deeply in love with a girl/boy? Looks can be deceiving, and prettiness is vain. But is that what drives most people? There was a quote from the movie:


I donno maybe it's the fact that the movie was half comedy and half chick-flick that I'm thinkin' like this. Damit, don't even bother with those questions... There is no textbook-answer, you learn to love from the example of those around you and all the things you see in your lifetime. It's up to you to make the best of what you have.

Ehhh I really really am gonna miss it, not just the game itself either. Unlike PSO (Phantasy Star Universe), which was kinda hard to make lasting friends, I really am gonna miss the people I met and befriended on Maple Story...

I kinda made a full circle this time around. Back to LJ. Back to singleness and supposed determination. Back to wishing I could be that guy. Back to being glad I'm not. Back to struggling my desire to be selfish and my desire to be selfless. Well, anyway I'm back... and who knows what that means.

I took the time to read over my old LJ which I am forever locked out of. I can't remember my password (clever security technique in case the enemy uses hypnosis or other unconventional means to hack my LJ) and my email account is impossibly locked (further precautionary measures).

Anywho... much to my surprise, my antiquated self could have taught me a thing or two. Granted, I could have taught my eighteen-year-old self how to space out different thoughts into separate paragraphs, but nevertheless the entry found here carries a ominous sort of premonition.

I must admit, though, that the Jonny of two years ago knew little of love. The Jonny of today knows slightly more. But love is like an iceberg, there is so much more to it than meets the eye.

I could talk all night about the single word 'love'. I really want to avoid that so I'll just stop while I can still feel my fingers. I just feel the need to get some emotions out of my body every now-and-then, and now that I have a LJ once again I can feel free to do so where ever I may be at!!

Hmm I have a few off-topic things I feel like talkin about here.

I Fed a homeless man. It was a Wednesday night and I stopped at McDonald's on the way home from school. I saw this older man digging through the trash as I exited the drive-through. I kept thinking how awful it would be to have nowhere to run to in such dire need, to live exposed to the elements and trying to scrape by in this world. I went inside and bought him two cheeseburgers. He gave me a friendly smile as I handed him the bag and said a quick, "Thank you." I left the parking lot feeling better, but knowing that what I had just done was not a cure-all for the man's problems.

Tonight I watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Amazing movie. I really enjoyed Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet in their very interesting roles. It was heartbreaking to watch their precious memories dissipate before their very eyes. A very moving film I must say!!
